Last week VMware announced the general availability of the new version of its hypervisor. Just four days after its launch, the UDS Enterprise team confirms that the connection broker for desktop and application virtualization supports vSphere 7.0.
After making the necessary adjustments to the software, the experts behind this VDI broker have carried out rigorous compatibility tests in their laboratories to verify the perfect interoperability of a virtual desktops solution with UDS Enterprise and VMware vSphere 7.0.
Thanks to the swift action of developers and technical specialists, customers who have a VDI infrastructure with UDS Enterprise and VMware technology can upgrade to the new version of the hypervisor. IT administrators can now start enjoying all enhancements incorporated into vSphere, such as the new Lifecycle Manager tool, native Kubernetes support on ESXi hosts, or security improvements such as integration with identity federation systems.
Full vSphere 7.0 support for virtual desktop deployments with UDS Enterprise is part of the connection broker team's commitment to incorporate compatibility with the latest versions of the cutting-edge technologies. VMware solutions have always been on the list of products compatible with UDS Enterprise. In addition to vSphere, UDS Enterprise also supports vCloud, allowing the deployment of virtual desktops on vSphere-based private clouds and on multi-vendor hybrid clouds.
VirtualCable, the company developer of the connection broker, and VMware have been working for years under an agreement of Technology Alliance to provide a secure, reliable and top-performing VDI solution. UDS Enterprise is available in the VMware Solution Exchange (VSX) marketplace and is certified as VMware Partner Ready.
In addition to VMware, UDS Enterprise periodically obtains the certifications of the most innovative manufacturers. Nutanix, Citrix, OpenStack, Teradici, Red Hat, Microsoft ... are some of the companies that endorse the perfect operation of the connection broker with their solutions.
VMware vSphere is only one of the hypervisors supported by UDS Enterprise. This VDI broker is compatible with practically all the virtualization platforms on the market and allows to enable all the necessary ones to run simultaneously. This feature is extensible to connection protocols and authentication systems, providing unprecedented flexibility.
