New Guide: UDS Enterprise System Requirements

The UDS Enterprise team has published a new and useful guide including the technical and system requirements that must be taken into account when designing a desktop and application virtualization platform with this connection broker.

The different components that make up the UDS Enterprise platform and their technical requirements are described in this document. These components are: UDS Server (broker), UDS Tunneler, UDS Database, UDS Actor and UDS Plugin.

In addition, the requirements of the main virtualization platforms compatible with UDS Enterprise to automatically deploy and manage Windows and Linux virtual desktops and applications are indicated there.

Specifically, you can find the configuration and network requirements and the different ports that must be enabled in Citrix XenServer / XCP-ng, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix Acropolis, oVirt, RHEV and VMware vSphere.

We remind you that UDS Enterprise is not only compatible with virtually all virtualization platforms on the market, but also allows you to enable all that you want at the same time to adapt to the specific needs of each project. The full infrastructure is managed, monitored and controlled from a single administration dashboard, simplifying IT management as much as possible.

As detailed in the guide, for a VDI and vApp deployment with UDS Enterprise, in addition to a virtualization platform it is necessary to have a DNS Server and a DHCP Server.
