UDS Enterprise in Microsoft Azure Marketplace

by | Mar 21, 2019

UDS Enterprise is available in Azure Marketplace. Microsoft has verified the compatibility of the VDI and vApp connection broker with its cloud service and has given the green light to the publication of this software in its catalog which includes solutions certified and optimized to run on Azure.

From this platform, users can check the main features of this software, the comprehensive technical documentation about UDS Enterprise, case studies and, in addition, they can request a free trial version.

The support for Microsoft’s cloud service is one of the most important features added to the 2.2.1 version of UDS Enterprise. This development dramatically simplifies the management and deployment of virtual desktops and applications on Azure. With this VDI broker all administration tasks are performed more easily and quickly through its intuitive interface.

UDS Enterprise brings VDI automation to a higher level, achieving greater agility in the implementation, administration and delivery of virtual desktops and applications, helping IT admins to optimize their work.

This software becomes the best ally of companies when it comes to saving costs in their deployments of virtual desktops and applications in the cloud. In these scenarios, the client only pays for the resources that he uses and UDS Enterprise helps to reduce this consumption, limiting it to the real time the machines are used. This is achieved thanks to its ability to schedule the deployment and removal of virtual desktops and applications.

In addition to Azure Marketplace, UDS Enterprise is now included in vAppource. This catalog of Microsoft enterprise applications helps companies find the best solution to accelerate the digital transformation of their business. The desktop and application virtualization with UDS Enterprise is undoubtedly one of the technologies that help companies from all sectors take advantage of current technological trends.

With the publication of UDS Enterprise in Azure Marketplace and vAppource, Microsoft joins the list of technology alliances of this VDI connection broker, including companies such as VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat, Nutanix, Citrix, NodeWeaver, OpenNebula, OpenStack, oVirt, Teradici, SharxDC, Vates (developers of XCP-ng and Xen Orchestra ) or Walhalla DC.
