UDS Enterprise supports VMware vCloud

by | Apr 16, 2018

The UDS Enterprise team has made the relevant developments so that UDS Enterprise is able to publish virtual desktops and applications on the VMware vCloud platform.

Starting with the new UDS Enterprise 2.2 version, the connection broker supports this integrated VMware solution, combining the vSphere hypervisor with the multi-vendor hybrid cloud management platform, VMware vRealize Suite.

In this way, UDS Enterprise administrators will be able to deploy and manage virtual desktops and applications over vSphere-based private clouds, and multi-vendor hybrid clouds.

The support of the state of the art technologies of VMware has been, from the beginning, one of the bets of the UDS Enterprise team which, in each new release, incorporates compatibility with the most recent versions of the hypervisor of this manufacturer. In this line, UDS Enterprise 2.2 supports VMware vSphere 6.7, the latest stable release of this software. The previous version of the VDI connection broker is compatible up to vSphere 6.5.

The incorporation of vCloud support is just one of the many new features of UDS Enterprise 2.2. In this article you can check the list of the most important ones.
