UDS Enterprise 2.0 features a new calendar scheduler to restrict users access to services by dates and hours.
Admins can now assign calendars to the different services pools in order to optimize the use and availability of resources. They can also automate processes using a calendar.
For instance, the number of machines available can be resized and UDS Enterprise cache can be scheduled to be increased or decreased at certain times to make the most of infrastructure. The system can also be scheduled to publish new machines during downtime so that users have new and ready machines when they reconnect.
This new functionality will be available in UDS Enterprise 2.0, which will be launched during Q2 2016.
