ZDNet highlights UDS Enterprise & oVirt integration

The flagship IT publication ZDNet underlines UDS Enterprise & oVirt integration for VDI deployments.

In particular, it quotes University of Sevilla case study, because this organization decided to carry out a VMware vSphere to oVirt migration in order to get important cost-savings.

The migration was performed fast and easily thanks to UDS Enterprise compatibility with both hypervisors. UDS Enterprise is the multiplatform connection broker for Windows & Linux chosen by the university some years ago.

The author explains that the university considerably diminished the costs using Open Source software, since oVirt and UDS Enterprise don’t require any license payment.
